I have really enjoyed using the Monster Beard Brush--the angle on the handle makes it very comfortable in using on your beard, and the shape of the handle fits in the hand nicely. It is well crafted and the storage bag that it comes with is nice for travel. The brush does a fantastic job with straightening out and laying down your beard, especially when used after a nice balm/oil.

However, I would say that this Monster Beard Brush is indeed for Monster Beards. I have about 4" of length from the tip of the chin to the tip of the beard (so the longest beard hairs are probably in the 7" range) and I think if it were too much shorter than that, this brush might be too big. The head of the brush is large enough that you won't have much of a stroke going down your beard to actually straighten it out and neaten it's appearance with only 2-3" of beard hanging down. If that's the case, I'd imagine (but can't specifically recommend as I haven't used it) the smaller beard brushes are perfectly suited to your use-case.

Well made with just the right amount stiffness. I have other beard brushes from other manufacturers and this brush is far superior to those.
